Read Law in the UK. Holds an LL.B from Middlesex University and an LL.M in Public International Law from Queen Mary, University of London. Member of the Cyprus Bar Association; practicing law in Nicosia. First elected as a member of the Cyprus Parliament in 2011; He currently serves as the Chairperson of the House Standing Committee on Internal Affairs, the Committee responsible on migration and citizenship legislation and policy. Also serves as a member of the Committee on Financial and Budgetary Affairs, the Committee on Legal Affairs, Justice and Public Order and the Committee on Human Rights and Equal Opportunities. Served as Head of Delegation of the Cyprus Parliament in the EU Interparliamentary Conference on Common Foreign and Security Policy; Currently serves as Head of Delegation to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association.
