Yariv Becher is VP Business Development and Partnerships at Startup Nation Central (SNC), an independent nonprofit organization that helps tackle global challenges by connecting Israeli innovation with multinational corporations, governments, investors, as well as NGOs from around the world. Yariv joined SNC in 2022 as VP Innovation Diplomacy to lead the organization’s effort to leverage Israeli innovation to improve Israel’s geopolitical relations and global standing. Prior to joining SNC, Yariv fulfilled 13 years in public service in the Ministry of Economy and Industry, where he held several positions, including Commercial Attaché to the UK and the US Midwest and Director of the International Financing Department. In these roles Yariv promoted Israeli innovation and technology internationally and assisted foreign corporations and governments tap into the innovation eco-system in Israel. Yariv joined the government after spending 8 years in one of Israel’s leading cyber security companies in financial and partnership management roles.
