Vanda studied international relations in Prague and Bologna before working in think tanks and business development across the Czech Republic, China, and the USA. In 2019, she founded Twigsee, an edtech startup digitizing preschool administration, now used by 1,500+ nurseries. She led Twigsee through a merger with Bakaláři Software in 2023, and a full exit a year later. With Twigsee she was awarded among 20 most innovative personalities of 2020 and holds third place of Women Startup Competition Global of 2021. Now, she’s focused on entrepreneurship and investing, recently acquiring Competition & Enterprise, the Czech Republic’s largest high school entrepreneurship program, with plans to scale it internationally and support thousands of students to start their business. She also serves as Czech representative under European Commission advisory committee European Female Founders Forum (EFFF) and the Board of Directors of Czech Founders. Beyond business, Vanda loves to travel with family, practice yoga, fly sports aircrafts, and enjoy a good coffee—or shisha—at her favorite bistro.
