Stephanie was born in Nicosia, Cyprus. She is a dedicated psychologist/psychotherapist and patient advocate with extensive experience in psycho-oncology and teaching. She serves as Head of Psychosocial Services for Europa Donna Cyprus, providing psychological support to breast and gynaecological cancer patients and their families, and as a university lecturer specializing in counselling psychology and communication skills in medicine. With a robust academic background, including a Doctorate in Psychology, Stephanie has contributed to numerous research projects and international conferences, advocating for better cancer care and psychosocial support. Stephanie was drawn to psycho-oncology after witnessing the profound emotional challenges faced by a close family member during their cancer treatment. This experience highlighted the critical need for comprehensive mental health support in the oncology field, inspiring her to pursue a career dedicated to bridging this gap.
