Omar Hagrass grew up in his home country, Egypt. He was originally intrigued with the world of medicine, however after beginning his studies he realized he wished to pursue a world in business. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in Political Economics. He has a passion for reading and learning, and has received an additional qualification in Executive Education in Leadership & Strategy from Harvard Business School. Before launching Trella, Omar was Launch and Expansion EMEA Manager with Uber Eats, supporting the launch and scaling of Uber Eats across the UK, Dubai, South Africa, and Riyadh. Prior to that, he was Community Operations, Greenlight Hub Manager with Uber in Cairo. Prior to Uber, he worked in investment banking for several years.
