Merima is a Senior Manager at PwC and is responsible for strategy, transformation, and technology consulting for the financial sector of the SEE Region. Before joining PwC, she held various leadership positions in some of Europe’s largest banks for 12 years. This experience has provided her with a unique perspective on the challenges facing the financial industry. Additionally, she has worked as a business development manager in the IT sector with a focus on the financial sector. Her expertise in both banking and technology has aided in her understanding of digitalization and innovations within the financial sector. In addition to her role at PwC, Merima is an Executive Board member of the European Women Payments Network (EWPN). Through her leadership in various projects and initiatives, she promotes fintech and payments development in the SEE Region. Merima holds a master’s degree in Banking and Insurance and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Information Systems Management.
