Passionate about advancing renewable energy, I bring over 18 years of specialized experience in the sector, focusing on solar technologies such as thermal systems, CSP, and photovoltaics. As a co-founder and shareholder of EnergyIntel Services Ltd (www.energyintel.com.cy), my strategic vision has driven the company’s significant growth in Cyprus through trading, engineering, and the development of comprehensive solar energy solutions. My expertise is demonstrated through a robust project portfolio that includes the design and installation of multiple photovoltaic power plants, with capacities ranging from 100 KW to 10 MWp in Cyprus and Greece. A highlight of my career is the successful 50 MWp Helios CSP project in Cyprus, which achieved a €46 million grant from the NER300 funding initiative. Under my leadership, EnergyIntel has recently pioneered an innovative thermal energy storage system capable of providing Long Duration Energy Storage. This system features a cutting-edge integration of a patented high-temperature Stirling engine with a thermal storage module, offering competitively priced electricity and heat 24/7.
