Maria is the Head of Development at QBeat Academy, a leading training and coaching organisation, helping tech companies build high-performing, purpose-driven teams. With over a decade of experience as an Engineering Leader, and scaling two fintech unicorns in the UK, she now supports other tech leaders in making smart moves to grow their organisations. Maria is committed to building inclusive tech communities, where people feel empowered to enter, grow, and lead. She’s the founder of Google Developers Group (GDG Cyprus), the largest developer community on the island. She teaches teenagers build their own websites, mentors girls through Girls in STEAM Academy and Young Female Leaders, and cohosts “Breaking the 20%”, a podcast spotlighting women breaking into and thriving in tech.
