Jonathan is a business and technology leader with a track record of delivering breakthrough results at companies like META, Unifonic, and Paramount International. Jonathan served as the President of Unifonic, the leading customer engagement platform in the MENA region, from 2020 to early 2024. During his tenure, Unifonic’s headcount grew sixfold to over 500 employees, and the number of handled customer interactions surged to over 10 billion annually. Under his guidance, the company diversified its product and market strategy, expanded through M&A, and successfully raised $125M in a series B financing round. Before Unifonic, Jonathan was the Managing Director of META in the Middle East, North Africa & Pakistan and led the regional office in Dubai from 2012 to 2018. As META’s first employee in the region, he built the MENA team and business from the ground up and was responsible for growing revenues across META’s family of apps. Jonathan is a tech optimist who believes that new technologies and startups are vital for driving positive change. He has been investing in startups for over a decade and enjoys advising and training companies on how to make the most of AI. Additionally, he is on the board of Sestek, a leading conversational AI company with customers in more than 20 countries worldwide. Jonathan is a passionate traveler and has lived in Germany, Spain, Argentina, the US, the UK, and the UAE.
