Jonathan is a co-founder and Managing Director of Arcadia Funds, LLC, an investment management firm that focuses on opportunities in specialty finance. He has more than 40 years experience spanning a range of advanced technology (both hardware development and software applications) and new business development (specifically in marketing, finance, and executive management). Jonathan often acts as an advisor and strategy consultant to emerging technology companies and their CEOs. He has been a Catalyst for MIT Deshpande Center for Technological Innovation since 2012, an active mentor with MIT Venture Mentoring Service since 2004 and with the Cyprus Seeds program since 2019. From 2012-2016 Jonathan was also a Catalyst for the Skoltech initiative between MIT and the Russian Federation. Most recently, Jonathan has been invited to serve on the International Advisory Board for the PHAETHON Centre of Excellence project here in Cyprus. Jonathan is an angel investor and has served on the Board of Directors of several of his portfolio companies. He was also founding Chairman and CEO of HighPoint Systems, Inc., a market-leading, venture-backed, e-commerce infrastructure software company. His degrees include an MS in Management of Technology from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, PhD and MS degrees in applied physics from Stanford University, and a BS degree in physics from MIT. He holds six patents.
