George Kyrou is a Social Designer, Educator and Activist in the field of Sustainability in Fashion. He is the Director of Fashion Revolution Cyprus and the Founder of Motivw (pronounced Mo-ti-vo), a fashion project that focuses on waste textiles by reusing them to create upcycled garments. With his team they host clothes swaps and workshops on how consumers can be more ethical and responsible in their clothing related habits. George has received multiple awards in social entrepreneurship and has represented Cyprus in the European Commission and The EU Parliament in Brussels as a Sustainability Expert and youth advocate for fashion, waste and a more prosperous future.
