George graduated with a Diploma in mechanical engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. Following his studies, he gained extensive experience in the automotive industry, spending a decade at the Volkswagen AG headquarters in Germany. During his tenure within the Group, he spearheaded strategic and organizational initiatives. He focused on orchestrating collaboration among the Group’s different brands and identifying investment opportunities in technology startups and scale-ups. Since mid-2020, he has been serving as an independent innovation strategy advisor and angel investor. Throughout this time, he has collaborated with large corporations and startups in Greece, Germany, and Scandinavia, actively participating in financing rounds and M&A transactions. Alongside his professional journey, George has been a lecturer at TU Dortmund University since 2018, where he previously obtained his Doctoral degree in mechanical engineering.
