Dave Wallace – Host, Dave and Dharm Demystify
Dave Wallace, a true digital pioneer, launched his career by spearheading the digital transformation of Yellow Pages in the mid-’90s. With over 25 years of experience, his innovative thinking and deep understanding of digital channels have revolutionised the way brands connect with their customers.
Throughout his career, Dave has been obsessed with ensuring that Brands can connect effectively with their customers through digital channels, with a particular focus on the financial services sector. His focus on the end customer and really understanding their behaviours and motivations has been instrumental in ensuring true success for brands such as HSBC, RBS, Manulife, and ANZ in developing and implementing digital strategies that are customer and content-first in their approach.
Dave’s entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the customer experience led him to found HeathWallace, a specialist agency that helped Banks and other large Blue-Chip clients deliver customer-friendly digital services. Under his leadership, HeathWallace grew internationally, with offices in the US, Asia, and Australia. Dave sold HeathWallace to WPP, a testament to his business acumen and success.
Having left WPP in 2019, Dave has taken a portfolio approach to work and consults with several companies. He recently announced that he has joined Shadowmap as Chief Strategy Officer.
He also currently produces and co-hosts Dave and Dharm Demystify, contributes to various publications, and writes extensively on the intersection of finance, technology, and ESG.
