Carolina is a seasoned professional with +15 years of experience driving the growth of the startup ecosystem across Europe and Latin America. Having held various C-level and board positions, she has supported over 1,000 startups globally and founded three ventures herself. Recognized for her impactful contributions, Carolina has been named an SOSV Fellow (USA), Harvard Social Venture Fellow, and Red Bull Global Mentor. She has also served on the Board and Advisory Boards of prominent global organizations, including WSA (Austria) and SXSW (USA).
In addition to her work with startups, Carolina has consulted with prestigious institutions such as The World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank, advising on policies to support the startup and scale-up ecosystems. As an Adjunct Professor at IE Business School, she shares her expertise with the next generation of business leaders. Carolina holds an MBA from Luiss Business School and a master’s in journalism. An investor herself, she specializes in preparing investment decks for founders prior to Series A funding. She is also the co-author of technical publications in the fields of Strategic Communication and Business, including the ESNA Compendium and five strategic volumes aimed at guiding and supporting Startup and Scaleup Strategy at the EU level.
