Anna Štrébl is the CEO of Confirmo, a global payment platform that enables companies to use stablecoins and other cryptocurrencies. Apart from reshaping the company’s structure and operations, Anna brought her valuable expertise that helped transform Confirmo from a small startup into a major industry player. Her career path spans a wide range of experiences across academia, business, and diplomacy. She earned her education at the prestigious University of London and later completed a master’s program at the University of Oxford. After her studies, she worked at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and the Department for International Trade, where she helped shape diplomatic and trade relations in the post-Brexit era. Anna entered the crypto world in 2021 after meeting Daniel Houška, one of Confirmo’s co-founders. Already fascinated by emerging technologies, she saw crypto as an exceptionally promising field—one where you feel like an astronaut exploring the unknown. She joined Confirmo as Head of Business Development and was appointed CEO in 2023.
