Alex is an engineer turned investor and a Founding Partner at Evercurious VC. He started his career as a researcher at CERN, where he was involved in projects tying science to real life problems, mostly in the medical domain, such as particle accelerators for cancer treatment. His desire to be involved in impactful projects led him to a medical device startup, where he was fascinated by transferring research into a product. In 2021, he moved to Fairway Asset Management in Zurich, where he led the creation of a new Venture arm, investing directly into deep tech companies. He holds an engineering degree from NTUA and an MSc from Imperial College London and he has recently relocated back to Greece to launch Evercurious VC.
