Zuzana Simekova

Consultant, mentor, speaker, and bestselling author

Zuzana is a former partner at the world’s largest law firm, a consultant, mentor, speaker, and writer. As a lawyer, she co-led an international practice group at a magic circle law firm in Paris and London and has over 15 years of experience advising clients across Europe and beyond. She studied at the University of Cambridge, the College of Europe, and Charles University in Prague, where she obtained her PhD degree. As a consultant and mentor, she currently focuses on advising clients in the areas of self-development, change facilitation, and striking a balance between professional and private life, with a particular emphasis on mental health issues. She collaborates with international and local companies across various sectors, as well as individual professionals. She is the founder of the NGO INLY, which focuses on educating women and young professionals about mental health issues. Zuzana is the author of the novel Beautiful People (2022), which became a bestseller in Slovakia and explores the impact of a demanding professional environment on mental health. Her next novel will be published in autumn 2023. Zuzana has been recognized as one of the 40 remarkable female legal professionals in her category in Europe and ranked among the top 100 women in the Czech and Slovak legal business. In 2022, she was selected as one of the 12 inspirational women by Forbes Women Voice.
