Walking Tour 1: "Reflecting the Future"

This guided walk grants a chance to explore the stories surrounding the old factories area of Limassol and the prospect of the area becoming the future Tech Hub of the island.
Starting from Kolla, we will head west to ETKO from the main road. Then, we’ll proceed to the beach front and continue walking along the beach, passing by the Sodap factory and carob store. To return, we will head back to the main road and descend again to cross the riverbank. Continuing along the beach past the Karnayio, KEO, we’ll end at Marina Beach. Finally, we’ll return back to Kolla via the main road.

This captivating guided walk offers a showcase of the rich history of the Old Town of Limassol. The experience includes exploring the town in a cooler setting via multiple stops at the key points of interest where you can learn more about their history through fascinating storytelling.
Starting from Kolla, we’ll cross the main street to Versailles Street. Then, we’ll walk east through the Turkish quarters of the town, making our way to St. Antoniou Church and the Mosque. Continuing on Akara Street to Eleftherias Street, we’ll pass by Katholiki Church to Saripolou Square. Afterward, we’ll head towards the university grounds and the Town Hall. Finally, making our way back to Kolla through the Castle Square, the Old Port, and Limassol Marina, we’ll end at the starting point.

This tour begins at a central point of the Old Town, in front of the Heart Hotel. During the one-hour walk, we will guide you through the captivating historical alleys, weaving stories of the area’s past as a commercial center and its transformation into a modern tech hub. The walk will conclude at the Festival venue, Kolla Culture Factory.

Wine production holds a long tradition in Cyprus and is a must-experience activity when visiting.
This event begins with a pick-up at a central point within the Old Town (Enaerios Parking lot) at 11am. We’ll then proceed to Ktima Gerolemo for a 1-hour visit to the medieval wine press where we will indulge in a wine tasting session. Next, we’ll continue to Oenou Yi Winery for a 45-minute tour through the winery building and vineyards, followed by another wine tasting. Afterward, we’ll drop you off at Omodos village for 2 hours of free time before picking you up at 4:00 pm to return back to Limassol’s Old Town.
